My wife suggested that I get something lightweight for all these summer weddings we had to go to, so she found me this! It was absolutely perfect for those 80-90 degree days!! While I listened to everyone complaining on how hot it was, I was pleasantly cool in my linen combo. Not to mention I had many complements on how good/expensive I looked, so that was an added plus! I would even wear this for work in the office.I ordered the gray and the beige to match what my wife was wearing those days. Both are great and true to the color posted. I’m 5’8 and 185lbs, usually a 36 waist and I ordered the beige in large, the pants were a little snug for my liking, but if you want that fitted/slim look it was perfect for that. I ordered the xl in gray and those were more comfortable in size. Both sets, the pants came with adjustable straps to take in/let out the waistline, so that helped tailor the xl size down a bit for a more comfortable fit. For the large size, I had them completely let out, so I couldn’t make them any looser. So size up if you’re a 35-36 to the XL and you can make them a little more snug if you’d like! Thankfully my wife is a tailor and hemmed the pants for me, they are extremely long. I’m usually a 30-32 length-wise and I would put these at like 40. She had to take off quite a bit at the bottom. The vest has the adjustable strap in the back, so I had no complaints about the sizing on either the large/XL. Just make sure you (or someone else) can hem and iron your set, and you’ve found the perfect summer wedding guest look.
